Sheila Brogan, Eldercare Coordinator for Children's Aid and Family Services, will discuss the Medicare Part D prescription program for 2011 at the Northwest Senior Center, 46-50 Center Street in Midland Park on Tuesday, November 9 at 1PM. It is time for seniors to re-evaluate their Medicare prescription plans. There are changes to the 2011 Medicare Part D plans. Some plans are being discontinued and seniors will need to choose a new plan. Seniors will need to decide on whether or not to continue with their current plan if it is available in 2011 or to enroll in a new plan during the open enrollment period between November 15 and December 31. Seniors will learn about the 2011 plan costs and how to evaluate their prescription plan.
